Registration will begin at 9:30am

Purpose:

This conference is designed to bring positive awareness to help individuals understand the concepts and importance of self-care, mental health, wellness, nutrition, physical wellness, and relationships. The overall goal is for attendees to leave feeling encouraged, motivated, and engaged.

Problem:

The data showed that the annual suicide rates per 100,000 person-years ranged from 21.4 for health care support workers, to 16 for registered nurses, to 15.6 for health technicians, to 13.1 for physicians, compared with 12.6 for non–health care workers.

Discussions focus on:

Work/Life Balance

The power of vulnerability

Celebration of life while coping with guilt or loss

Accessing resources for strength, renewal, and revival

Engage in holistic self-care by actively participating in various activities such as aromatherapy, beautification, meditation, and journaling, all while immersing yourself in uplifting words of affirmation.

2 CEUs will be awarded for Substance Use professionals and Social Workers

Registration Fees

If you work WITHIN Wayne County please dismiss the payment portion of the registration process and hit "submit".

If you work OUTSIDE of Wayne County there is a nominal $15.00 registration fee to attend this training. Please pay prior to your arrival by entering your credit card information when the registration process asks for it. You may also bring a company check or money order for the full amount with you to the registration table at the event as well. All checks/money orders can be made out to ‘DWIHN’. Receipts will be available upon request.

Cancellation Refund Policy

Substitutions are permitted at any time. No Shows will be billed at the same rate. Cancellations must be received in writing no later than 7 business days prior to the training to asmith1@dwihn.org in order to obtain a full refund. If cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to the training, no refund will be issued.
