Course Description:

This training will go over the signs of suicide, how to recognize when someone is struggling and what you can do. We will also discuss language, stigma and practice scenarios for working with a youth who is expressing signs of self-harm and/or suicidal ideation. 

Course Objectives:

Signs of Suicide will go over warning signs that some one may be thinking about or planning to die by suicide, we will also cover the difference between adult presentation and youth presentation. - Warning signs of suicide and suicidal ideation - Understanding myths and facts of suicide and stigma
