Cognitive Behavioral Treatment for Anxiety

in Children, Adolescents & Adults

This is a highly interactive training designed to cover the learning objectives while assisting participants in achieving a greater sense of confidence and competence in effectively assessing and treating anxiety utilizing CBT. The training describes the symptoms of anxiety in children & adults, the biogenic and psychosocial factors contributing to the development of anxiety as well as the cognitive theory construct of anxiety. CBT interventions shown to be helpful in ameliorating anxiety are discussed. The training also focuses on evaluative tools to assess treatment progress / impact.
