Diversity Training for Social Workers

This training reviews research regarding the cognitive underpinnings of prejudice, the emotional & social roots of prejudice from a sociological and ecological perspective, describes the issues involved in contemporary racism, provides an overview of theories about the role of the ego in the stigmatized and non-stigmatized person and reviews recent cognitive research exploring the contemporary problems of prejudice and implications for interventions.
