Topics to be Discussed

  • Sucide: Knowing the Signs and What To Do, presented by Melissa Bowman - Peers will learn language to use and how to assist someone struggling with suicidal thoughts. Training will also focus on self-care for the person in crisis.
  • Compassion Fatigue, presented by Menachem Hojda and Jean Pfaendtner - Peers will learn the impact of caring for others, including self-care so they can be better helpers, friends, and peers.
