Event Description/Learning Objectives: 

This workshop will focus on tools and resources that will allow participants, especially adolescents and those who face mental health challenges to become better advocates for themselves. In this workshop several forms of advocacy will be touched on from personal advocacy to systematic advocacy. Through this workshop situations will be presented and determined what level of self-advocacy is necessary and when assistance is needed. Content will be shown through slides, dialog, and distribution of resource contacts.
