Event Description/Learning Objectives: 
 
This virtual event, "Courageous Conversations: Youth Against Bullying", will take place on Zoom and be livestreamed to the Youth United Facebook (@wcyouthunited). 
 
We will feature antibullying organizations and professionals that either handle bullying cases or work with youth that have been bullied. We will also be reaching out to students that have experienced bullying to chime in on the virtual panel and engage in discussions on:
  1. Types of Bullying (with an emphasis on cyberbullying)
  2. Psychological Effects of Bullying
  3. How Bullying is Being Addressed in local Michigan school districts
  4. Michigan laws on Cyberbullying
  5. Shared Story (from a youth that has experienced bullying/cyberbullying)
Audience: All Community partners + Youth ages 14 and up
 
The virtual event is scheduled for 2/17/2021  4p-5:30pm.
