Course Description:  

This course introduces key compliance principles, including, but not limited to, HIPAA, fraud, waste, and abuse, and the importance of reporting concerns. Attendees will explore real-world scenarios, gain a practical understanding of regulatory expectations, and learn how to identify and mitigate compliance risks within their agencies.

Course Objectives:

1. Explore the current trends in non-compliance

2. Understand the policy or regulation related to the noncompliance issues

3. Strategies on how to remain in compliance

4. Understand the necessary steps to take once noncompliance is identified
