Person-Centered, Individualized Treatment

Planning: How to Develop Treatment Plans that

Make Sense to Clients

Time: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

 Location: Video Conference https://bluejeans.com/407074868

Presentation Content and Purpose:

Person-centered, individualized treatment planning can be challenging in behavioral health due to the complexity of many biopsychosocial priorities. This webinar will outline principles for individualized treatment planning to engage people in a collaborative, accountable, and outcomes-driven process that meets their multidimensional needs.

The person who should know most about their treatment plan is the client. It is their life, and they are the ones who should be working the hardest on their treatment plan. This webinar will improve participants' knowledge in providing focused, targeted, individualized behavioral health treatment. It will help participants develop an accountable treatment plan that makes sense to the client..

Objectives:

Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:

1. Review principles of individualized treatment planning and how to engage clients in a treatment contract.

2. Discuss ways to individualize problems, goals, and strategies that have client “buy-in” and collaboration.

3. Apply principles of individualized treatment planning in a way that makes sense to the client.
